Mother’s Day is coming up soon! We celebrate this year on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
I always appreciate and welcome the yearly opportunity to recognize the moms and motherly figures in our lives. It's a big holiday for gifting and giving jewelry, and I always embrace the flurry of extra orders and feel eternally grateful for the thought of my pieces being gifted to the ones you love.

Mother's Day can also be complicated, and I recognize this. For those that have lost their mothers, or dream of being a mother but can't, for those that have complicated or abusive relationships with their moms... I see you. And I wish to share the Rumi quote, one of my favorites: "We are born of love, love is our mother."

One of my favorite gifts to give (and receive!) is a handwritten note. It's the reason I still include handwritten notes in all of my outgoing jewelry orders.
