Fall 2026 Jewelry Trends

Fall 2026 Jewelry Trends

A new season of jewelry style is here.

Every year there are new jewelry trends that emerge, and it's something I like to keep tabs on, because trends often tell a larger story. I like to follow what's new to see what it reveals about human values and whatever is current in the industry.

Many of these new styles and trends are fabricated by the fast fashion industry though, pushing us to always need something new (hello, cropped trench coats, I'm looking at you.)

Instead of looking at these larger trends, I'm quietly observing what I see in my circle of designer friends, at my local high street shops, and at style events and fairs in London.

Either way, it's fun to follow along and see what's new and noteworthy. It doesn't mean you need to dive in, unless there is something here that really speaks to you.

All of that said, and as I look ahead to Fall + Winter 2026, there are a few things I'm especially excited about and keeping my eye on.

1. Tactility

I'm seeing interactivity with fashion as a theme. Think jewelry pieces you can touch, open, and play with. More than ever, people are using what they wear to show their personality and tell a story, especially when it comes to components that are highly touchable, moveable, or interchangable. I recently attended The Goldsmith's Fair in London and was drawn towards several different style necklace pendants with moving parts, specifically this one capsule necklace that opened along it's chain to reveal a tiny compartment for storage. (I deeply regret not making note of the artist!)

2. Embracing the Imperfect

I also see a shift toward pieces that feel a little less perfect and a little more human. One-of-a-kind jewelry fits perfectly into this trend, embracing natural variations and craftsmanship. This type of jewelry is much the opposite of what I'm currently creating, as my designs currently use very precise 3D-printing technology and are fully polished, smooth pieces in the end. It's planted a seed of an idea for a future Love Lori Michelle Jewelry collection though!

3. Chunky Jewelry Stacks

Chunky jewelry is still popular, but this fall, I'm seeing even more of it stacked and layered. Playing with different proportions and combining bold pieces is an easy way to make your jewelry feel more personal. Thick, sculptural jewelry is perfect for creating memorable looks. My latest Portal Collection falls nicely into this trend.

4. Oversized Pendants

Yes to large, statement pendant necklaces! I'm seeing lots of talismans, vintage-inspired, big, bold pendants, especially worn over sweaters, high neck knits, and with blazers. A lot of women that I see on the streets of London are favoring a single, statement necklace instead of layers of dainty chains.

Which of these styles speak to you?

Reminder: there are no rules when it comes to accessorizing with jewelry. Don't feel like you have to chase any of these if it doesn't feel like you. Hopefully, these Fall 2026 Jewelry trends inspire you to experiment, mix things up, and find a few new ways to make your jewelry your own.

Here are some of my picks that work for the above ideas.

For tactility and interchangeability, check out the Shell Spiral Pendant, it's perfect for wearing long, or adjusting the cord to a choker style. Though the Shell shape is reminiscent of summer, I can see it with a fall vibe when layered over a sweater, giving it more a calla lily feel.

For something imperfect, try the Ribbon Hoop Earrings. They have just enough irregularity to their wave, they feel intentionally varied from a regular hoop.

For something chunky, the Portal Abstract Teardrop Earrings are the ones! Statement size, with a thick, luxurious feel.

Finally, for an statement pendant, check out my Shoreditch Coin necklace, inspired by London. At 0.75" size, it's perfect for wearing alone or stacking with a shorter, chunky chain. It has a vintage-feeling vibe and is definitely a conversation starter (it's designed after a gas cover in the streets of London).

I hope you enjoyed this jewelry roundup!

Lori
