♥︎ STERLING SILVER

INFO
  • polished / shiny finish / smooth surface
  • .925 silver means that your piece is 92.5% pure silver, and the remaining 7.5% is made up of other metals to give it hardness
  • none of our silver jewelry is made with plated silver

CARE

Sterling silver will last a lifetime and gets better when worn.
After wearing, keep your silver pieces in a cool, dark, airtight place like a jewelry box or plastic bag.
Silver can tarnish if exposed to moisture in the air, turning it black or dark.
Once tarnished, don't worry! It can always be polished back to the original shine.

CLEAN

Soak your tarnished sterling silver jewelry in a ½ cup of white vinegar + 2 tablespoons of baking soda. It should fizz! Leave it in this solution for two to three hours, then rinse and pat dry.
For heavily tarnished or intricate sterling silver, buy a soaking solution (I like Hagerty's Silver Polish, which you can find on Amazon or at your local hardware store).

♥︎ PLATED GOLDS (YELLOW/ROSE)

INFO

  • polished / shiny finish / smooth surface
  • brass base underneath, coated with a layer of 14K yellow or rose gold
  • gold plating is 0.5 microns of thickness
  • plated golds are the most economical option

CARE

The lifetime of your plated gold jewelry depends on how often it is worn and exposed to humidity, water, soap, perfumes, makeup, + sunscreen.
Pieces will typically last for several years or more when worn with care. To extend the vibrancy of your jewelry, remove gold-plated jewelry when showering or swimming.
Avoid direct application of makeup or sunscreen on top of jewelry.
With hard-wearing and frequent exposure to water, the plating may wear off, revealing the brass base material underneath.

CLEAN

Wipe with a soft cloth after wearing. Soak it for a few minutes in warm, soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth as needed.

♥︎ 14k GOLDS (YELLOW OR ROSE)

INFO

  • polished / shiny finish / smooth surface / timeless
  • 14k yellow gold consists of 58% gold, 31% copper, 10% silver, and 1% zinc
  • 14k rose gold consists of 58% gold, 40% copper, 1% silver, and 1% zinc
  • 14k gold is a forever material that only gets better over time

 CARE

With care, 14k solid gold can last forever. Gold is one of the most long-lasting materials available for fine jewelry.
If you have an active lifestyle, solid gold is a great choice. It can withstand most elements, including being worn daily in the shower or while swimming.
It will retain the warmth and color and only gets better with time. Avoid sharp or abrasive surfaces, as gold can scratch or dent with rough usage.

CLEAN

Soak it for a few minutes in warm, soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth as needed.
