How to Find Your Ring Size

You can easily measure your ring size at home using just a few simple tools. 

This ring sizing guide walks you through two of the easiest methods to determine your size: measuring by diameter or circumference.

Option 1: Diameter

You need: a ring that fits + a ruler

If you already own a ring that fits the finger you want to measure, using the diameter (the distance across the centerline) is one of the quickest and most accurate methods.

1. Place your ring on a piece of paper.
2. Carefully trace the circle just inside edge of the ring band. 
3. Using a ruler, measure straight across the center of the circle to find the diameter of your ring in mm. 
4. Compare your measurement with the ring size chart below to determine your US size that corresponds to the diameter shown.

Option 2: Circumference

You need: a ruler + a pen + piece of string or a thin strip of paper

If you don't have a ring that already fits, measuring your finger's circumference (the distance around the outside edge) is another option.

1. Wrap a thin strip of paper or a string around the finger where you'll wear your ring. It should feel snug but still comfortable. 
2. Mark the point where the ends meet. 
3. Lay the paper strip or string flat on a table, and measure the length from the end to your mark. 
4. Compare that measurement with the circumference chart below to find your US ring size.

To get the most accurate measurement, be sure to measure your finger at least two or three times to confirm your size. If your measurement falls between two sizes, it's generally best to size up for a more comfortable fit.
