I love a year end re-cap: a look back over what's worked, what pieces were best-sellers, and what designs spoke the loudest. Not necessarily because I like to follow trends, or to know what's popular so that I can just make more of it (although that is part of it), but I just love raw data, and I like to see how it aligns with the current mood, the feel of a year, the overall vibes.
The one big question is always Gold vs. Silver. It will probably remain the eternal question. So here's the big reveal: Gold pieces outsold Silver!
54% gold vs. 46% silver for 2025
That's a shift from 2024, when silver won with 55% of all sales. So gold made a comeback this year, is anyone surprised?
Curious about my best-selling design? For 2025, you were all into the sun/moon vibes of the Celeste Necklace. The Sunshine Studs were close behind as your second favorite. The North Star necklace and Starburst Studs also were in the top 5, so celestial themes were popular overall.
As for a breakdown by type, earrings continue to be your favorite type of jewelry to scoop up. The most sales came from earrings (47%), followed by necklaces (26%), and then rings (5%) and bracelets (2%), with custom design work rounding out the remaining part.
Interestingly, the design that made the biggest sales jump between last year and this was the Roundrel Earrings, likely because of a viral TikTok video I shared featuring those.
